Washington County Water Reuse Projects (2025-2026)

Baxter Environmental provides NEPA oversight services under the direction of the Bureau of Reclamation for Washington County Water Conservancy District's proposed Central Reuse System. Baxter Environmental also managed preparation of the environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact for the Eastside Reuse System.

Lake Powell Pipeline Project (2019-2020)

While serving as the Bureau of Reclamation's NEPA specialist, Jared Baxter led environmental project delivery for one of Utah's largest water infrastructure projects. Responsibilities included coordinating technical specialists, managing project schedules and risks, and overseeing development of the draft environmental impact statement (EIS).

Green River Block Water Exchange Contract (2018-2019)

As the Bureau of Reclamation's NEPA specialist, Jared Baxter led preparation of the Environmental Assessment for the Green River Block Water Exchange Contract. The project culminated in publication of a finding of no significant impact and final environmental assessment in February 2019, followed by execution of the exchange contract the following month.

Big Sandy Reservoir Enlargement (2017-2020)

Jared Baxter served as the Bureau of Reclamation's NEPA specialist for the Big Sandy Reservoir Enlargement Project in southwest Wyoming. He led preparation of the environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact while coordinating required approvals with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

UDOT Environmental Assessments (2020-2022)

While at the Bureau of Reclamation, Jared Baxter led preparation of Environmental Assessments supporting multiple UDOT transportation improvement projects, including:
